Get IP is a small program which easily shows your hostname and all your local IP addresses. This information can then be copied to the clipboard for future use in any other application.
Many people can make sure of Get IP, especially gamers. How many times have you needed to give someone your IP address so you can play a game online? Probably a number of times. Now, with Get IP you can view your hostname and all your local IP addresses by simply loading Get IP. What's more, you can make Get IP automatically copy this information to clipboard, and then either minimise itself to your System tray or Task Bar for quick and easy access, or close the program entirely, so in a flash you have the information you want about your Internet connection.

--- 2. HELP FILES ---

To keep the size of Get IP down the help files are not included with the program. They are available online, or as a download from the Get IP website. If you access the help files from within Get IP, it will detect whether the help files are installed or not. If they are installed Get IP will look if the help files are for the version of Get IP you are using. If the versions don't match you will be asked whether you want to view the help files that are installed, or view them online. If the help files aren't installed you will be taken to the Get IP help files online.
It is recommended that you always use the help files online. This will insure you are viewing the latest, most up-to-date help files for Get IP.

- Get IP needs the Visual Basic 6 (SP5) runtime files in order to function correctly. If you experience errors when loading or using Get IP, download these files before contacting support. You can download them from the Glynsoft website (http://glynsoft.cjb.net).
- Get IP will only show the hostname and IP addresses of the local machine.
